In the heart of Austin, Texas from July 5th to the 7th; Rooster Teeth Productions will be hosting their third annual event dedicated to gaming and internet culture called Rooster Teeth Expo (RTX). Founded in 2003, Rooster Teeth Productions is a studio that specializes in creating live action shorts, animated pieces, interactive engines from video games, and much more. Rooster Teeth Productions is famous for creating the award-winning web series Red vs. Blue which is based off the Halo franchise.

When RTX first debuted in Austin in 2011, the event was initially planned as a small group of about 200 people which would include a tour of the Rooster Teeth office, however, when tickets were accidentally sold out within minutes; the crew realized that the next year RTX would need to expand to accommodate the large fan base and high demand of tickets. The event features early access to anxiously anticipated video games, panels dedicated to gaming and the Youtube community, and interviews as well as photo opportunities with various video game voice actors and video game personalities. This year, RTX will feature Mega64, Jen Taylor (the voice of Cortana from the Halo franchise), Earl Alexander (the voice of Louis from Left 4 Dead), and more.

If you are local to the Austin area and are a fan of video games and internet culture, you need to check out this fantastic event! RTX will be held at the Austin Convention Center.
