Think Farmville meets Animal Crossing meets Harvest Moon, and you’ll be on track for the upcoming Stardew Valley. It’s being developed by ConcernedApe and published by ChuckleFish, the same publisher as Starbound.

As the developer puts it, Stardew Valley is an open ended country life RPG adventure. Gather resources and work your land, grow your farm and build a home! Stardew Valley also incorporates skills. As you work the farm or cook or any number of things you will gain skills and become better and better at that task. Currently, they have over 100 cooking and crafting recipes to work on. In your spare time you can also go fishing or spend time with friends.

Tired of living on the farm alone? Court and marry a partner of your choice and share the farm. They’ll work with you on the homestead and assist in the daily chores.
When you’re bored of working the land, go adventuring! In Stardew Valley there is a cave with a whole hidden world to explore. There are creatures, treasures, archaeology, and more to explore and discover what is out there!
Your choices and actions will shape the town. Will you assist in the takeover of the city by large corporations? Think Wal-mart and the mega corporations. Or will you be for the small town village and farming town feeling. Support your local shops!
